The visionary masked band combines theatrics with a mixture of rock, metal and atmospheric elements. Mushroomhead’s prior album, Savior Sorrow, entered the Billboard Top 200 chart at # 50 and 2008’s DVD “Vol. 2” debut at #7 on Billboard Video Chart.

The band will debut its first single 'Come On' at radio in August. "This first single is going to surprise people by being very melodic, yet with a crushing undertone," says ring-leader and drummer Skinny. "It feels really good this time around. The album is less ambient and heavier, yet retains that creepy Mushroomhead dynamic."

Beautiful Stories For Ugly Children is a diverse effort, as keyboardist and band comedian Shmotz says, "Mushroomhead never draws a line without blurring it first."

Known for their stunning visuals, the band will debut new masks and a stage set-up that has been building up over the last few years of touring. The band's ground-breaking video '1200' was voted MTV's Headbangers Ball 2007 Video Of The Year.
