SLASH To Perform Tailgate Concert At New York Jets Home Opener In New Stadium

The New York Jets have announced that SLASH (VELVET REVOLVER, ex-GUNS N' ROSES) will perform a tailgate concert to open the Jets' 2010 regular season in their new stadium on September 13. Slash's band will feature lead singer Myles Kennedy and two special guests — Nicole Scherzinger, lead singer of the PUSSYCAT DOLLS and Dancing With The Stars champion, and drummer Jason Bonham (LED ZEPPELIN) - pregame on the plaza just outside the stadium. Scherzinger will also perform the National Anthem.
The Jets' 2010 regular season kicks off when they host the Baltimore Ravens at 7PM at New Meadowlands Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. ESPN Radio will be distributing light bands that glow green to fans entering the stadium.
