EXTREME Working On New Studio Album - "Something That Actually Might Just Get Rid Of All The Fans We Have Left"

EXTREME guitarist Nuno Bettencourt checked in with BraveWords.com recently and talked about the follow-up to their 2008 studio album, Saudades De Rock, which marked their first release in thirteen years.

"We’re just writing, trying to get a bunch of stuff together," Bettencourt explains. "We’re trying to do something really… talk about odd… the Soledad record was a straight-up rock record for us - get in the studio and just play. We’re thinking of doing something a little bit more… something that actually might just get rid of all the fans we have left (laughs). You know, it will be odd enough and strange enough that maybe people will go, ‘All right, that’s it, I’ve had enough of Extreme. They’re out there. They went too far.’ But it will be fun either way."
