Norwegian death metal tyrants BLOOD RED THRONE have confirmed two shows in Mexico this weekend.

The band will be making their first ever appearance in the country and will be performing on Saturday, September 11th in Mexico City, and on Sunday, September 12th in Guadalajara.

Blood Red Throne guitarist Død comments: "Blood Red Throne is very excited to announce that we will play in Mexico for the very first time on September 11th and 12th. Mr Hustler, our old singer, will join us for these two gigs as well, so it will be a special event for all of us!"

Blood Red Throne have also confirmed a North American tour supporting DIMMU BORGIR. The band will be joining their fellow countrymen in Dimmu Borgir and ENSLAVED on the Darkness Reborn Tour, which kicks off on November 5th and runs through to mid-December. Also appearing on the tour will be DAWN OF ASHES from Los Angeles.

Død adds: "Finally, Blood Red Throne is making it to the US! November 5th will be the first out of 32 gigs across the US and Canada supporting Dimmu Borgir and Enslaved. Be prepared for this supreme Nordic metal attack this winter 2010!!!"
