hot flashes news

Canada's Moshpit Tragedy Records - the first label to abandon physical releases in favour of a full 'pay-what-you-want' download model - have uploaded a new promo video featuring music recorded by it's founder Rayny Forster (pictured at left).

Forster comments: "I actually recorded this song in 2003, a few years before I even knew I would end up starting Moshpit Tragedy. Its just a silly song but not only is it relevant, it really foreshadowed what I would end up doing in the future so I thought it would make a good song for a promo video."

Moshpit Tragedy began in 2006,and one year later launched its 'sliding-scale' concept, in which visitors can pay what they want, starting at nothing, for full official album downloads, complete with print-ready sleeve art. The label has since been joined by the ranks of EXTREME NOISE TERROR, PHOBIA, MISERY, SKARP, TOTAL FUCKING DESTRUCTION, AMEBIX and over 50 others.
