Finland-based melodic power metallers THAUROROD, who release their new album, Upon Haunted Battlefields, today via NoiseArt Records, have posted the second part of their album track by track (see below).

'Morning Lake' - "'Morning Lake' is a power metal anthem with catchy chorus. It sounds like a real hit song. Hopefully it will become one! Solo section is crazy shredding battle between Emil and Lasse. This song has lots of great rhythm patterns. You have to really concentrate to play them right." - Joonas

'Scion Of Stars' - "This is a real modern power metal anthem. Very fast and powerful song with lots of great melodies and catchy chorus. The guitar solo section is pretty insane, some crazy-ass sweep picking stuff by mr. Pohjalainen of course. Very cool song, definitely one of my favourites on the album!" - Lasse

'Guide For The Blind' - "'Guide For The Blind' is an epic story about Prometheus in Greek mythology. The song has a lot of different kind of parts that are changing all the time from serene intro into very heavy&slow; blast beat riff and then starts the mid-tempo beating as the story of Prometheus continues after the intro part. The song has quite cool solo part as there are few short guitar solos that are played by Emil and Lasse in turns.should look great on the stage!" - Pasi
