Dir En Grey bassist Toshiya has checked in with the following update following their North American tour with APOCALYPTICA:

"We made it back safe to Japan. I really had a wonderful and stimulating time being able to visit Korea, UK, Russia, Canada, and North America. I think being able to spend some time with all of you was the most wonderful part but I wish we had more time to spend together.

Thank you for loving us and supporting us wherever we go. We hope to be able to repay you back with greater songs from us. Right now we are working really hard in hopes of getting our new record out next year. And then we will head over to your side and play some shows, so please somehow be patient and wait for our return.

Take care to all who were unfortunately not able to come see us Live this time and to all who did come to our shows. Stay safe!"
