PICTURES OF PAIN Inks Deal With Pitch Black Records

Pitch Black Records has welcomed Norwegian melodic metallers PICTURES OF PAIN into its roster of artists and will release the band’s debut, The Reckoning, on November 26th.
The Reckoning was recently mastered by legendary KING DIAMOND guitarist Andy LaRocque at his own Sonic Train Studios.
Originally formed in 2005 the band has so far released two demos and has performed live numerous times and supported bands like VOLBEAT, KAMELOT, DORO, SCAR SYMMETRY, KEEP OF KALESSIN, ENSIFERUM, LEAVES’ EYES and others. In March 2007 Pictures Of Pain made it to the Wacken Metal Battle Final.
The CD version of The Reckoning includes an additional two bonus tracks of older demos and will be available worldwide through Pitch Black Records and Twilight-Distribution. It will also be available for digital download through several major mp3 stores.
