Las Vegas-based SIN CITY SINNERS have been nominated for a 2011 AVN Award for best original song. For those who might not be familiar the AVN Awards are the Oscars of Adult Movies.

The song ‘Numb’ off the Sinners' debut CD Exile On Fremont Street appears in the adult movie Gia: Portrait Of A Porn Star. The movie which stars Sunny Leone is distributed by Vivid and was written and directed by the bands manager Jason Green (under the name Spencer Benedict).

The AVN Awards will take place Saturday, January 8th, in The Pearl Theater at the Palms Casino, Las Vegas, NV. In the past the award has been won by artists including EDDIE VAN HALEN and SNOOP DOGG.

Sin City Sinners features Todd Kerns (SLASH, AGE OF ELECTRIC) Brent Muscat (FASTER PUSSYCAT) Rob Cournoyer (RAGING SLAB) and Dr. Michael Ellis.

The band is also releasing an acoustic EP titled Broken Record on December 17th.

As previously reported, this Saturday, November 27th, Sin City Sinners will kick off an open ended weekly run at Chrome (inside Santa Fe Station) in Las Vegas.

The first show at Chrome will also serve as a benefit for Cystic Fibrosis Research and Awareness at 10 PM. For the event The Sinners will be joined by several special guests including Jimmy Crespo (AEROSMITH) Phil Varone (SKID ROW, SAIGON KICK), Paul Shortino (QUIET RIOT, ROUGH CUTT), Louie Merlino & Ron Mancuso (BEGGARS & THIEVES) and Carol Lyn-Liddle (DANGEROUS CURVES).

The band will be selling limited edition merchandise at the show with all profits going directly to Cff.org. Beginning Monday, November 29th, fans will be able to visit this location to bid on autographed items generously donated from TWISTED SISTER (donated by Eddie Ojeda and AJ Pero) Vinny Appice (DIO, BLACK SABBATH), L.A. GUNS (donated by Phil Lewis), Frankie Banali (QUIET RIOT), Cheetah Chrome (THE DEAD BOYS), Dave Ellefson (MEGADETH), TIM "RIPPER" OWENS, Ron Keel (KEEL), Evan Seinfeld (BIOHAZARD), Blas Elias (SLAUGHTER), Bruce Kulick (GRAND FUNK RAILROAD, ex-KISS), TRIXTER (donated by Pete Loran) and more.

On April 9th, 2011, Jason Green will captain the Sin City Sinners Team for a 5k walk in Las Vegas to raise money for CF. He will also be joined by all the members of the band and fans are encouraged to join the band and participate in the walk.
