BILLY IDOL / CAMP FREDDY guitarist Billy Morrison has checked in with the following update:
"Back from an amazing week in London. The Matthew Ashman Tribute show was beyond my expectations - completely sold out and rammed with people.....faces I haven't seen in 25 years (fucking amazing to see you all!) and a huge honor and a privilege for me to perform with all those seminal musicians that shaped my musical education. Maff's mum came to the show - her first ever rock gig - and I believe it would be safe to say that every person in that building on Sunday night had a good time. Above is the preview that Classic Rock ran, plus there is a link below to an early online review here.I move straight into the Camp Freddy residency at The Roxy (three shows before Xmas on 3rd, 10th and 17th, plus a New Years Eve performance..... without Dave and Chris as they will be with JANES ADDICTION, but we will have some friends standing in and ready to bring in 2011 in our own way) as well as a final Billy Idol set of West Coast dates. I'm knackered.... and I wouldn't have it any other way."
As previously reported, due to overwhelming demand, Billy Idol has announced a second date at The Fillmore in San Francisco, CA for December 21st. This will be Idol's last show of 2010. His schedule is now as follows:
