hot flashes news crown the lost

Pittsburgh-based melodic thrash metallers CROWN THE LOST have issued the following update:

"Here's our first video, 'Separate Blood From Waste', which comes off our forthcoming album, Cold Pestilent Hope. Much thanks to Andy Pollack for having the gall to stand in our rehearsal room and shoot us five ugly dudes."

Check out the new video below.

'Breathe Into Emptiness', a new song from Crown The Lost, can be heard on the band’s MySpace page. The song will be featured on Cold Pestilent Hope, which will be released in 2011 through an as-yet determined label. The album will be the first to feature new singer Leon Mallah, bassist Timothy Boyle, and drummer Argel Marchelletta, and was produced/engineered by Dave Watson at Soundscape Studios in East McKeesport, PA.

Commented guitarist/founding member David E. Gehlke: “Since this is our maiden recording voyage with not only Leon, but an entire new rhythm section, it became readily apparent that ‘Breathe’ was the right song to introduce them to the metal public. Anytime a new singer is brought in there’s a certain degree of trepidation, yet Leon squashed those concerns rather quickly. So, by our humble, yet horribly-biased perspective, this is the next logical step from our previous album, ‘Blind Faith Loyalty.’ As such, we are too enthusiastic for words as to how ‘Cold Pestilent Hope’ turned out, and we hope everyone will feel the same way upon its eventual release next year.”
