BENIGHTED Ink Deal With Season Of Mist; New Album Due In April

Season Of Mist welcomes French brutal death metallers BENIGHTED to their roster. The tentative release date for the band's as yet untitled sixth album has been set for April 18th, 2011.
The band issued the following statement: "Benighted is back from the psychiatric hospital and is very proud to announce the signing with Season Of Mist for the new album - 12 tracks mixing brutality and groove, a new concept album telling the story of a schizophrenic and the abysses of his delirium about Josef Fritz in his own cave."
Benighted have been recording their fifth album in Kohlekeller Studios, located in Frankfurt, Germany. The new album, which follows 2007's Icon.
The album will also feature guest vocals from ABORTED's Sven de Caluwé, and Mike Majewski of brutal death metallers, DEVOURMENT.
