MEGADETH Presented With Double-Platinum Awards In Sydney For Big Four: Live In Sophia, Bulgaria DVD; Video Available

The members of MEGADETH were presented with double-Platinum awards in Sydney, Australia last night on December 18th for the Big Four: Live In Sofia, Bulgaria DVD, which sold over 30,000 copies in Australia.
Bassist David Ellefson commented: "Last night was an awesome show in Sydney on the No Sleep Til tour and just before the show we were bestowed with a double platinum award for the Big Four: Live In Sophia, Bulgaria DVD. What a great way to celebrate with our Australian fans who have been so loyal to us all these years."

Megadeth mainman Dave Mustaine revealed via his Twitter account recently that there are some major tour announcements forthcoming: "A huge announcement is coming for next summer in the States and in Europe and the UK. Just went through a couple weeks of hell arranging something special for summer. Stay tuned! We're going to have some Big shows coming up."
Take note of the word "Big" - alluding to the possibility that the aforementioned territories could see The Big Four of thrash metal - METALLICA, SLAYER, ANTHRAX and Megadeth - back on the road.
