Austria’s kings of blackend death metal, BELPHEGOR has announced that their new album Blood Magick Necromance will be released in four formats. The first is a limited edition in black slipcase with metallic effect. The second is a strictly limited Nuclear Blast mailorder edition boxset including bondage necklace and chain Only 500 handnumbered copies available. The third edition comes in a limited picture gatefold LP format in blood red vinyl and black vinyl. The fourth format is a standard jewel case CD.

Blood Magick Necromance was produced by the legendary Peter Tägtgren (HYPOCRISY) at his Abyss Studios (IMMORTAL, DIMMU BORGIR, HYPOCRISY, DARK FUNERAL etc.) in Pärlby, Sweden and mastered by Jonas Kjellgren. The album will be released on January 14th, 2011 in Europe and on February 8th, 2011 in North America.

Belphegor recently released their 'Impaled Upon The Tongue Of Sathan' music video. The clip was shot and edited this past October by director Alexander Koenig in Abtenau, Austria. Keeping with the concept of the forthcoming Blood Magick Necromance, album the crew went through over 60 liters of fresh blood within two nights of shooting. Smashing all oppressive morals with anti-Christian sentiment, the band presents a raw look at depraved blood rites which celebrate the liberation of man through death. Check it out below:

Belphegor will be direct support to the legendary SEPULTURA this April/May soon after their tour with DEICIDE. The band will also take part in a handful of special headlining shows in the midst of the tour.

Belphegor will be direct support to Deicide on the God Is Dead – To Hell With God Tour, which kicks off on February 15th of next year. The trek also features BLACKGUARD, NEURAXIS and PATHOLOGY.
