STATUS QUO's Francis Rossi Cancels UK Solo Tour

STATUS QUO vocalist/guitarist Francis Rossi has announced that he has been forced to cancel the UK solo tour scheduled to run between the 1st and 8th of February 2011. Francis requires urgent surgery for a hernia complaint. The tour is unable to be rescheduled at this time due to Francis' recording commitments with Quo for the forthcoming album.
Francis Rossi comments: "I hate to have to cancel shows and hope that the fans realize that these situations are outside my control".
Refunds are available for all ticket-holders for the cancelled shows and customers should return to their point of purchase.
The next confirmed Francis Rossi solo activity is a live album and DVD, Live At St Luke's, filmed at the London solo show on September 15th, 2010, which will be released in February through Edel's international rock label, earMUSIC distributed in the UK and Republic of Ireland by Absolute via Universal.
