VOLTURYON - Coordinated Mutilation Release Date Confirmed

United Guttural have confirmed a February 25th street date for the new album from Swedish death metallers VOLTURYON called Coordinated Mutilation. In other news, to celebrate the release of their second album, the band will be hosting a release party in their home town, Falun, at Club Hellmer. The event will be limited to 80 pre-sold tickets that include entrance to the party, a copy of the new album and food. Volturyon will headline the CD release show, performing many of the songs on Coordinated Mutilation for the first time. Supporting act are fellow Swedes IKHON.
Coordinated Mutilation was recorded at Black Lounge and Abyss studio by Jonas Kjellgren (CARNAL FORGE, SCAR SYMMETRY, CENTINEX).
The cover (above) depicts a psychotic blood covered maniac butchering a cadaver with a chainsaw created by Polish artist Lukasz Jaszak. Jaszak is known for his previous works which include the Lords of Chaos book cover and album covers from artists like BLOOD RED THRONE and WITCHMASTER.
