On April 19th, Norway's SARKE will have a release party for their new album, Oldharian, at John Dee in Oslo, Norway with special guest, INSIDIOUS DISEASE. Party details can be found at this location.

Sarke will release the first single from the upcoming Oldharian album, for the track 'Condemned', on Friday, March 18th. The single will be available were you buy your music digitally.

Sarke's follow-up to their 2009 debut album Vorunah, the new opus entitled Oldarhia, will be released via Indie Recordings on April 15th.

In 2009 Thomas Bergli, alias Sarke (KHOLD, TULUS, ex-OLD MAN’S CHILD), joined forces with the mighty Nocturno Culto from legendary DAERKTHRONE and Anders Hunstad (EL CACO, AUTOPULVER) on keyboards to release the debut album of Sarke called Vorunah, which received great feedback from both press and the fans.

On the band's new album Oldarhian, Sarke is still inspired by the great rock bands from the '70s to the death and thrash metal of the '80s to the '90’s black metal. It was recorded in Oslo at H-10 productions the old fashioned way, and continues the formula from the debut album: dark, epic and groovy.

As Sarke states: “Our music is inspired by the great 70`s rock bands, 80's speed metal bands and 90`s black metal bands. Put this together with the creative mind of the band and your get pure dark rock music sounding is clear, raw and honest.”
