American Idol hopeful James Durbin continues to bring a heavy edge to this year's show, last night covering BON JOVI's monster ballad 'I'll Be There For You' (if you recall he covered the JUDAS PRIEST classic 'You've Got Another Thing Comin'' a few weeks back). After the performance AEROSMITH's Steven Tyler praised the young singer.

Says Tyler: "You made Desmond Child proud with that. 1989? What's up with that? I have leftover sandwiches underneath my bed older than you. Do me a favour. Don't get too poppy on me."

Durbin to Tyler: "You had some awesome songs in '89. But I don't want to spoil the Aerosmith until the finale."

Tyler: "You save it and I will come up and sing it with you."

The pair shake hands on the deal!
