VH1 Classic's That Metal Show is back for lucky season seven on Saturday, March 19th at 11 PM (ET/PT). Guests on the season premier include METALLICA's Kirk Hammett and ULI JON ROTH (ex-SCORPIONS).
Kirk Hammett talks about Metallica, MEGADETH, ANTHRAX, and SLAYER being on tour together for the first time in over 20 years in the clip below, from That Metal Show's season premiere.
Says Hammett: “For me it’s a celebration. We’ve all made it this far and we’re all established bands and all the little issues and points of contention that we had with each other back then was all a product of being just young and immature and wanting to be number one. Now we’ve been around for 25 odd years or so and all that stuff doesn’t matter any more, and we can all look at each other and say, “We’ve accomplished a lot for metal and we should be proud and let’s celebrate it together.”
