BILLY IDOL / CAMP FREDDY guitarist Billy Morrison recently stopped by the Gibson Guitars Beverly Hills Showroom to show off his signature model, discuss his acting stint, and share his secrets for righteous rhythm guitar playing. Check out the interview below:
Morrison recently commented on his signature model Les Paul:
"I have to say that I'm still very proud of this thing - it felt perfect, sounded nice and chunky, and looks really fucking awesome. A huge thanks to Peter and Jenny, who looked after the whole thing yesterday, and an extra-special thank you to photographer Alan Hess, who snapped away for hours, and is now trawling through what must be hundreds of shots and sorting out the proverbial wheat from the chaff (read: find the ones that minimize the worn-in, years of narcotic consumption look!). Here's a little pre-emptive strike - one that he sent in advance - that shows the guitar to be the simple, classic, elegant and unique guitar in all its glory."As previously reported, SEBASTIAN BACH, MOTÖRHEAD frontman Lemmy Kilmister and Jason Bonham (LED ZEPPELIN EXPERIENCE) were among the guests that joined Camp Freddy on Monday, January 24th at Whisky A Go Go in West Hollywood, CA for a benefit event to create awareness and raise positive vibes in celebration of breast cancer survivor Carolyne Williams.
