Greece's Rockpages recently caught up with TNT frontman Tony Mills to discuss the band's new album, A Farewell To Arms, and his past with the '80s hard rock outfit SHY. An excerpt is available below:

Rockpages.gr: You have stated in many interviews that you consider Shy’s Misspent Youth a “disastrous effort”. Would you like to elaborate more on this comment?

Tony Mills: "Sure…personal opinions and attitudes in the band alienated Roy Thomas Baker, the producer on the first day of recording and the sessions went downhill from there. He showed little interest in the album and I didnt really blame him because of the atmospheres in the studio, but at the end of the day - and it was the end of the band for me, because I left shortly afterwards - it was a complete waste of $125,000."

Rockpages.gr: Were you anxious or nervous about the fans’ reaction towards you given the fact that Tony Harnell was for many years the frontman of TNT?

Tony Mills: "Not really, there was a job to be done, so I just went and did it. I've been sent a lot of mail over this issue, but Tony left of his own accord and I carried on the work. Some fans have walked away, many others have jumped on board. It's history from five years ago."
