German modern rock/metal act GLOOMBALL, featuring former MAJESTY-guitarist Björn Daigger, has hit the studio to record a new EP. A full length album will follow later this year. The band has issued the following update:

"As you may know we've been recording new material. How come you didn't get to hear anything so far? Well, we are still in the writing process, that's the main reason. In the end we want to be satisfied with our output, and so it takes a while to get the best results possible. For now we are really stoked about what's happening musically. We will record a promo CD in May, so there's a good chance that you will hear some of our new material around that time. People who attended our recent shows got a glimpse of what to expect in the near future.

We will record a full length album this year, that's for sure! Details will follow as soon as possible. Music should be thrilling for the band and the listener. We are not into things like bringing out just some stuff to please anybody for the moment. It's art, and art happens without a time limit. Especially in times like these we feel that music has to be more than just a simple product. You won't be disappointed. So please be patient and support us!"
