OBSCURA Kick-Off European Tour; Drummer Hannes Grossmann To Release DVD

OBSCURA will kick-off their first tour in support of their brand new album, Omnivium, this week as part of a four-week European tour alongside HATE ETERNAL. This tour also includes BENEATH THE MASSACRE and DEFILED and will be making a stop at the Neurotic Deathfest this weekend in Tilburg.

Omnivium entered the official German Newcomers Chart at #14, as determined by Media Control. This is the band’s first time appearing in the nationally monitored entertainment charts for their native Germany.
Omnivium debuted at #11 on the Billboard Top New Artist Albums or Heatseekers chart for first-week sales of the album. The Heatseekers chart lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists as defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of the Billboard 200 chart.
Additionally, Obscura drummer Hanness Grossman will release his instructional DVD, Progressive Concepts For the Modern Metal Drummer this week. The 2-DVD set features almost four hours of lessons, clips, and live footage of both Obscura and NECROPHAGIST and is available for pre-order at this location along with complete details on the DVD.
