San Diego-based brutal death metal/slam band PATHOLOGY recently returned home from their first European tour supporting OBITUARY and GRAVE. The tour was a massive success for the band playing in front of some of their largest crowds yet, culminating in an appearance at the Neurotic Death Fest.

"We had a blast in Europe," states drummer Dave Astor. "It was great to meet all of our fans, and to have the chance to make new ones out there. It was also special to hang out with Obituary and Grave every night. They were all very cool people to tour with and it was overall a great experience."
"The writing process for the new album is going very smooth. The new songs are some of the heaviest stuff we have ever written," explains Dave. "We are all thrilled to be working with producer Daniel Castleman (IMPENDING DOOM, AS I LAY DYING, WINDS OF PLAGUE) at Lambesis Studios here in San Diego. I am a fan of all his recordings and feel his skills will bring our sound to where it needs to be."

Expect a new album in the fall.

Pathology have announced their next US and Canadian run, opening for Sweden’s Grave and Norway’s BLOOD RED THRONE, beginning August 30th in Tampa, Florida. Dates listed below.

“We’re very excited to already be able to announce our next tour,” says drummer Dave Astor. “We’ll be opening for Grave, another legend in the death metal scene. This tour will be in support of a new album as we’ll be recording this summer.”
