IN FLAMES - New Interview With Drummer Daniel Svensson

Daniel Svensson, drummer for Swedish metal masters IN FLAMES, braved the heat at the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival to talk with Agent eX of BareBonesMusic.com. The two talked about the latest In Flames offering Sounds Of A Playground Fading which was released in June and reached a number one chart position in Germany. Daniel also talks about playing the Mayhem Festival with returning tour favorites and the bands plans of a European tour once Mayhem has wrapped (note: the interview took place prior to the band's tour cancellations explained below).
In Flames issued the following tour statement yesterday:
"It is with huge regret that today with immediate effect In Flames must cancel their current US shows as part of the Rockstar Mayhem Festival and their own US Headline shows. But due to a serious terminal illness of one the band’s immediate family members they feel they have no option.We have had the most amazing and fun times as part of the Rockstar Mayhem Festival and we are truly grateful for all the support the whole festival has shown
We will be back at the start of 2012. Once again our apologies."
