Canadian folk metal clan SCYTHIA have announced they will be pillaging Meow Records (300 Brunswick Street) on August 7th in Prince George, BC at 4 PM, in promotion of their upcoming sophomore release, ...Of Exile. The band will be performing an acoustic set at the store, along with exclusive limited edition copies to be signed before its official release on September 23rd.

Scythia recently posted a new video teaser for their upcoming album, ...Of Exile, again produced by Shaun Thingvold who has engineered projects with STRAPPING YOUNG LAD, FEAR FACTORY and DARKEST HOUR, and is the follow up to last year's debut release, ..Of War.

Scythia have released the album art and the tracklisting for ...Of Exile, due out September 23rd. The CD cover and artwork was designed by Astrid Mayora, Céline Derval & Scott Thompson.

Dave Khan, vocalist/guitarist for Scythia commented on the album: "We are very excited for our upcoming release. This album really defines Scythia's sound through dynamic orchestration, cinematic soundscapes and the use of narration. These elements combine to bring the listener deep into a world of battle and betrayal."

Scythia recently announced they will be trekking across western Canada for their Summer Siege Tour in promotion of the upcoming album, ...Of Exile.

Scythia captain Dave Khan commented on the tour and the upcoming album: "We are really excited about touring this summer to visit some of our favourite places to play in Western Canada and be a part of the Metal Mountain Fest. This tour is an opportunity for our fans in smaller towns to get an advance preview of our upcoming record."
