British thrashers EVILE have confirmed dates for a headlining UK tour, as well as two album release shows to celebrate the band's new album, Five Serpent's Teeth.

Evile will be playing at two album release shows in London and Birmingham, plus a special show which will be announced soon, followed by a full trek of the UK.

Lead guitarist Ol Drake comments: "The time is coming for Evile to take to the road once again. Five Serpent's Teeth is out in September so we thought it'd make sense to start off in our home country. The tour kicks off with release celebration shows in London and Birmingham. Can't wait to get out there and start playing all these new songs for you all; they're so much fun to play and we can't wait for you all to have just as much fun while we play them. See you in the pit!"

Evile will release Five Serpent's Teeth on September 26th via Earache Records. The album was once again recorded with producer Russ Russell (NAPALM DEATH, DIMMU BORGIR) at Parlour Studios in Kettering, UK.

A 15-minute preview of the album, featuring one-and-a-half minutes of each song, is available below:

Ol Drake comments: "I was delighted to hear iTunes upped their track preview length to 1:30, but everyone doesn't have iTunes. A fan of ours, Austin H, put all the previews into one video on YouTube. I support people 'trying before buying' so I'd love to let people know these previews exist to give you an idea of the album instead of downloading the album in time to come - after all, when people download an album, they more often than not say it's to 'try the album out', so I see this as quite a fair compromise to condone the previews being heard by everyone. I'm not wholly against downloading, I'm more against the disrespect shown to artists by downloading an artist's work, liking it and not rightly paying for it. Bands these days, not just Evile, need their fans' support. Support music!"

Evile vocalist and rhythm guitarist Matt Drake discusses the new album cover: "So here it is, the artwork for Five Serpent's Teeth. As is always the case with Evile, we try and do things a bit differently from what we've done before, so we fancied something a bit more design-orientated this time around. It's been done by a great artist by the name of Gustavo Sazes and he really came through for us as we were struggling to find something that visually accompanied the music, so hats off to the man! Make what you will of any meaning you think the cover may hold, much the same as you will be able to do with the lyrical content of the album; we know what it means to us, so enjoy!"

Ol Drake recently revealed the tracklisting for the new album: "Here's the full tracklist for our new album, Five Serpent's Teeth. There's such diversity through this album that I simply can't wait for people to hear these tracks. We spent a long time in the studio and at home figuring out the best order we could place these tracks in to flow perfectly through the album. The tracks go from the stomping heaviness of 'Cult', to the eeriness/melancholy of 'In Memoriam', to the pure insanity of 'Descent Into Madness'. You may have already hear 'Eternal Empire' (below), and if you were at Download festival last weekend and you came to see us, you heard 'Cult'."

Five Serpent's Teeth tracklisting:

'Five Serpent's Teeth'

'In Dreams Of Terror'

'Cult'

'Eternal Empire'

'Xaraya'

'Origin Of Oblivion'

'Centurion'

'In Memoriam'

'Descent Into Madness'

'Long Live New Flesh'
