Mesopotamian thrashing black metal pioneers MELECHESH will present their new bass player at the band's upcoming festival dates.

Founder, mainman, vocalist and guitarist Ashmedi explains: ”The relationship is in a strict tryout phase which will allow the bass player to find his way into the band and to see if he fits in well.

Additionally – as often before – Moloch won’t be able to be part of the live lineup on our European tour as well as on two festivals due to his PHD finalisation and other commitments, which he had to reschedule because of our previous US and European tours.

But as always we’ll have a trusted backup guitarist who toured with us in the past. See you on the road! Get ready for Sumerian Sonic Magick!”

Melechesh festival dates:

August

12 - Party.San Open Air - Schlotheim, Germany
17 - Summer Breeze - Dinkelsbuhl, Germany
20 - Motocultor Fest - Brittany, France
27 - Elserock Fest - Netherlands

SEPTIC FLESH have had to cancel their appearance as support for Swiss industrial black metallers SAMAEL on their upcoming tour due to scheduling conflicts. Melechesh will take Septic Flesh’s place on the tour.

Lux Mundi European Tournee 2011 will also include support from KEEP OF KALESSIN. Dates for the tour can be found at this location.
