Dutch progressive metallers TEXTURES have have announced two exclusive listening parties for their new album, Dualism, scheduled for release on September 23rd in Europe, South America, Asia and Australia and September 27th in North America.

The US listening party will begin at 9 PM at Idle Hands Bar located at 25 Avenue B (Downstairs) in New York City on Wednesday, August 31st. The entire band will be in attendance to chat, sign autographs, and drink whiskey.

On the other side of the world, Textures will have another listening party the very same day in Mumbai, India at the B69 venue starting at 9 PM. The Mumbai listening party is organized in co-operation with Mixtape (India); the Indian band SCRIBE will perform live.

Textures recently issued the following update:

"Here we go! We have just uploaded the first taste of new music from our forthcoming album Dualism. The track, entitled 'Singularity', is streaming on our Facebook page. All you have to do is hit the “Like” box if you haven’t already.

We have also started taking pre-orders for Dualism and launched a new line of merchandise, including several packages that bundle together a CD with a t-shirt or hoodie. Fans from Europe, Australia, South America and Asia can place pre-orders here and North American fans can pre-order here.

Textures recently released the third and final video podcast documenting the recording of their fourth studio album, Dualism.

The behind-the-scenes video clips show bassist and visual artist Remko Tielemans laying down his tracks, 7-string guitarist Bart Hennephof’s feedback session, new keyboardist Uri Dijk experimenting with new electronics, a guest appearance by a baby ball python, and outtakes of new frontman Daniel de Jongh (ex-CELICE) recording his vocals.

Fans will also get to hear several clips of new songs on Dualism. Watch the episode below:

Dualism, will see its release in Europe, South America, Australia and Asia on September 23rd, and in North America on September 27th via Nuclear Blast Records.

The album was recorded at Split Second Sound Studio in Amsterdam, The Netherlands and was produced by the band’s guitar player, Jochem Jacobs. The first single, 'Reaching Home', will be released on August 19th through all major download sites.

The artwork of the album was designed by former Textures’ frontman Eric Kalsbeek and the band’s bass player Remko Tielemans.

Textures have announced they will headline Foro Alicia in Mexico City, México on September 11th. The show is an off-date from their North American Frak The Gods trek with PERIPHERY, THE HUMAN ABSTRACT and THE CONTORTIONIST.

In early September, Textures hit the road on the Frak The Gods tour together with Periphery, The Human Abstract and The Contortionist. Following are two special European release shows. The first will be during EuroBlast in Germany on October 22nd, where they will perform alongside MNEMIC, TESSERACT and MONUMENTS. The second is the band's hometown gig on October 23rd at The Mezz in Breda with Tessaract and WHEN ALL LIGHT DIES. In November, Textures will play more Dutch shows together with FACE TOMORROW and STEAK NUMBER EIGHT before returning to the UK and France for the first time in over two years. The band will co-headline an eight-date run together with THE OCEAN and ALIASES as opening act and a single Paris date with The Ocean supporting.
