According to Speedtv.com, AC/DC's Brian Johnson and Byron DeFoor - recent Can-Am winner at the Monterey Historics - are teaming up with a pair of multi-time winners for their debut in the 2012 Rolex 24 At Daytona.

Johnson, a very serious vintage racing competitor, and DeFoor will co-drive a Riley Daytona Prototype prepared by Predator Performance for their GRAND-AM debut. Joining them at the 50th anniversary of the Daytona classic will be former overall winners Elliott Forbes-Robinson and Jim Pace. A third driver is expected to be announced in the near future.

Johnson does as many Historic Sportscar Racing events as his touring schedule allows, racing a Royale RP4 and a Can-Am Lola among other vintage cars.

Johnson's Rockers And Rollers: A Full-Throttle Memoir, is now available in hardcover format in North America, via It Books/HarperCollins.
