ANTHRAX frontman Joey Belladonna is featured in a new interview with Rock Confidential's Jesse Capps. An excerpt is available below:

RC: The band is tighter than ever and the Anthrax groove is heavier than ever. How do you feel about the band now as opposed to any other time in your career?

Belladonna: "We’ve all matured enough to realize this is the way to do this. Let’s keep it together and work things accordingly. This is a 'must' situation. This band is great and there’s good reason we should be together. We have a really strong chemistry that a lot of bands can’t find. It’s hard to find the lineup that makes a band who they are."

RC: Right now is such a rejuvenating time for Anthrax. You’re all over the press, playing huge shows, rave reviews everywhere. Right now seems like the most important time in the band’s career.

Belladonna: "Hey, everything’s on the up-and-up. We’ll take on all situations that come our way to make something great. There’s a good buzz on the new album. The album represents possibilities for the band."

RC: I love what you just said: The album "represents possibilities for the band." I think that’s really important to hear coming from you.

Belladonna: "If we all put our creative thoughts together now they can happen like they did long ago. All the change and trying to do things differently – whether they needed to be different or they just wanted things to be different. I don’t necessarily think it was the thing to do. Things are fine now and it works."
