According to Billboard.com, Def Leppard and Heart occupy the No. 1 slot on Billboard's Hot Tours as the superstar pairing's Mirror Ball tour traipsed for four months through the US and Canada during the summer, performing primarily at outdoor amphitheaters and arenas. The Def Leppard/Heart ranking is based on ticket totals from concerts that occurred from July 27 to Sept. 24. During that time period, show grosses topped $14.5 million from 278,392 sold seats at 32 concerts. Next on the Def Leppard itinerary are dates booked in Australia in October and Japan in November, followed by a string of UK concerts to close out the year. Heart will be on the bill for the Aussie shows through the end of October.
Over the past few months, Def Leppard fans have sent in hundreds of questions for the band through Live Nation, and after selecting more than 20 of them it is now time to see the guys give their answers.
