STRYPER frontman Michael Sweet held a Q&A; session / acoustic performance at Grace Fellowship Church in Buckeye, AZ on November 4th. Footage of Sweet performing 'Soldiers Under Command' and 'Calling On You' is available below, along with answering questions from the fans in the audience:

Sweet recently issued the following brief update:

"In writing mode now for the new solo record. I've got 15 songs ready to go but the goal is 25 by December 22nd, when we track basics!"

In addition, Sweet posted the following update via Twitter in regards to the band's forthcoming set of re-recorded classics:

"It might be best for me to stop Tweeting about the re-record since it seems to be confusing many people. Here's the facts...

We're tracking 17 songs - 14 old classics, 3 brand new songs. We're doing the record in phases, a little at a time. It won't be mastered until January, which means it won't be available until sometime after that. January is not the release date.

We're funding this ourselves so it's a tedious, time consuming task that we have to do in phases due to extensive touring and other things going on between now and the end of the year. So sorry for the confusion and it will be worth the wait!"

The name of the three new songs are:

'Bleeding From Inside Out'

'Blackened'

'How To Live'

Stay tuned for further updates.
