Chicago-based metal band EARTHEN GRAVE is celebrating its Friday, January 20th headlining show at the Metro in Chicago by allowing the public to hear its new songs: 'Dismal Times', 'Blood Drunk', 'Fall In' and 'Death On the High

Seas', and more over the next few weeks at its re-designed website.

The band welcomes back to the stage electric violinist Rachel Barton Pine, who returns from maternity leave to perform with them on Friday, January 20th at 9 PM at the Metro in Chicago (3730 N. Clark St. in Chicago, 60613/ two

Earthen Grave's sound is driven by the unique alchemy of its members: Ron Holzner on bass (formerly of TROUBLE), classical super star violinist Rachel Barton Pine on extended range electric flying V violin, Mark Weiner on vocals, Jason Muxlow and Tony Spillman on guitar and Scott Davidson on drums.

The band's self-titled album, produced by Ron Holzner, will be released in March, 2012. The Earthen Grave album is influenced by metal legends such as BLACK SABBATH, JUDAS PRIEST, METALLICA and SLAYER.

The group released its single, 'Blood Drunk', which explores themes of love, trust, lies and revenge and features guest vocalist Kristin Joy Elane, through Amazon.com and iTunes in April, 2011.
