According to a report by Artisan News, FOO FIGHTERS frontman Dave Grohl has launched a side project that will see him team up with SLIPKNOT's Corey Taylor and CHEAP TRICK's Rick Nielsen. Check it out below:

RATT frontman Stephen Pearcy, who is also involved in the project, recently checked in with the following update:

"Dave Grohl speaks on the new project that has been under wraps that Warren (DeMartini/guitars) and myself are involved with (and many other artists) in the new Rolling Stone January 19th, 2012 issue. Check it out if you have a chance; we'll wait for Dave's camp to give the formal release. Dave brought an amazing song to Warren and myself to record. I wrote the first draft of lyrics and sang a rough vocal track. Warren laid down some basic guitar tracks, still lots to do. So there you have it. More TBA when it goes down."

Go to Rolling Stone here for information on the issue featuring Grohl.
