METALLICA's Orion Music + More will take place at Bader Field in Atlantic City, NJ on June 23rd and 24th.

The festival has now announced the addition of Billabong All Out Air Assault Surfing Expedition.

According to a press release: “Come see some of the World’s Best Aerialists and New Jersey Local rippers taking to the air on the best waves Atlantic City has to offer.

Get relief from from the sun, check out some surf flicks, and realize that life really is better in boardshorts at the Billabong Oasis Lounge.”

Headlining both nights, Metallica will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Black Album by playing it in its entirety on one night and all of Ride The Lightning for the first time ever on the other night. This will be the only North American performances of these albums in 2012.

Other bands scheduled to perform at Orion include:

GHOST, ERIC CHURCH, THE JIM BREUER HEAVY METAL COMEDY TOUR, SOUL REBELS, WOODEN SHJIPS, and an entire stage devoted to punk and thrash music - Damage Inc. Stage - headlined by SUICIDAL TENDENCIES and SEPULTURA, and featuring up-and-comers TORCHE, RED FANG, KYNG, LANDMINE MARATHON, BLACK TUSK, THY WILL BE DONE, CHARRED WALLS OF THE DAMNED and more. They join the previously announced line up of ARCTIC MONKEYS, AVENGED SEVENFOLD, MODEST MOUSE, THE GASLIGHT ANTHEM, CAGE THE ELEPHANT, FUCKED UP, BEST COAST, HOT SNAKES, TITUS ANDRONICUS, GARY CLARK JR., LUCERO, ROKY ERICKSON, THE BLACK ANGELS, THE SWORD, A PLACE TO BURY STRANGERS, and LITURGY.

Furthermore, the Orion Custom Car + Motorcycle Show, curated by James Hetfield, has been announced as part of Orion Music + More.

Over 300 of the best Customs, Hot Rods, Muscle Cars and Custom Motorcycles will be on display at the Orion Custom Car + Motorcycle Show inside the festival grounds throughout the weekend. Orion ticket holders can check out incredible machines from across the world, including celebrity cars in the Primo Palace like James Hetfield’s 1936 Auburn Roadster Slow Burn Kustom and 1937 Lincoln Zephyr Voodoo Priest Kustom by styler and builder, Rick Dore.

Awards will be given out for Best in Show for each category: Customs, Hot Rods, Muscle Cars, and Custom Motorcycles. Plus, festival goers can cast their votes for the Fan Favorite.
