Canadian vocalist/guitarist/producer Devin Townsend (ex-STRAPPING YOUNG LAD) has checked in with an update on his forthcoming Epicloud album:

"One more day of catching up on life before mix starts for the album. Sorry about the delay on the studio vids, website and a bunch of things. When it all happens, it's be a tsunami of Dev junk :)"

Vocalist Anneke van Giersbergen, who recorded vocals for the Epicloud album in Vancouver with Townsend, recently checked in with the following update:

"Mister Devin Townsend is a genius. I cannot tell you how awesomely fantastic his album will be. Epic! Epic! Epic! And he made me do 20 hours of the loudest and most gorgeous vocals I've ever done."

Devin and Anneke previously worked together on his Addicted album, which included select live performances together during his European tour for the record.

The Epicloud album, which will be released under the DEVIN TOWNSEND PROJECT banner, features the following tracklist:

'Taurus'

'Animals'

'Liberation'

'Back Where We Belong'

'Save Our Now'

'Kingdom'

'Divine'

'Grace'

'More!'

'Heatwave'

'Hold On'

'Angels'

Townsend: "Yeah, we re-did 'Kingdom' because it's a live set staple, and so much better now than the PHYSICIST recording."

As previously reported, Townsend performed an acoustic show at Junofest 2012 in Ottawa, Ontario on Saturday, March 31st at Club Saw. Live footage is available below, including the new Epicloud album song 'Back Where We Belong' which he closed the evening with:
