WVOX's Metal Mayhem hosts Matt and Scott welcome back MEGADETH bassist David Ellefson this Friday, April 27th, in an exclusive interview on 1460 AM and WVOX.com worldwide at 7:15 PM, EST.

David talks with WVOX about Megadeth's mega co-headline show with ROB ZOMBIE at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, New Jersey on Friday, May 11th, the continuing international acclaim of their latest album, Th1rt3en, and he will give Metal Mayhem listeners the latest lowdown on the bands plans for the rest of 2012 and more. Fans can also listen for a chance to win tickets to the group's PNC show.

Megadeth is celebrating 20 years since the release of their Countdown To Extinction album on tour as Ellefson talks about the recording of the groundbreaking album with the Artisan News Service below:

1992's Countdown To Extinction is Megadeth's best-selling album, eventually achieving double platinum status and hitting #2 on the US charts. The album also produced the band's most successful hit singles, 'Symphony of Destruction', 'Sweating Bullets', 'Skin O' My Teeth' and 'Foreclosure of a Dream', videos were made for all singles and also for 'High Speed Dirt'.
