Orion Music + More, the new annual music and lifestyle festival created by METALLICA and their friends at C3 Presents, have issued the following update:

What about checking out (Metallica bassist) Robert Trujillo‘s passion of skateboarding in between - or during - your favorite bands at Orion Music + More? We’ve partnered with Vans to bring their Vert Ramp and their team riders to perform demos on Saturday and Sunday. Robert will be hanging out with you checking out all the action as the Southern Californian native and long time rider cheers on his friends and idols.

Following the demo action, your favorite riders will spill into the Vans Tent for signings and more! Vans will also be celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the Half-Cab by displaying the Metallica edition that will be coming out in the fall. Also keep your eyes out for additional Metallica-Vans collaborations on display!

Stay tuned for more details on Ramp! Until then, let us know which skaters you want to see on Facebook or Twitter!

Orion organizers recently announced that applications are now being accepted for a booth in Ktulu’s Rock ‘N’ Roll Emporium at Orion Music + More 2012.

Organizers comment: “Everyone is invited to apply, but we’re especially looking for record stores, instrument makers, and fans with collections to participate. This is your chance to showcase your rock memorabilia to fellow rock enthusiasts.”

For consideration, complete the application form at this location. Applicants will receive an e-mail confirmation upon submitting their application and notified of acceptance in early May.

All applications must be submitted by April 27th. For more details on being an exhibitor on site, go here.
