THE SWORD - Unreleased Age Of Winters-Era Track Available

Austin, Texas metallers THE SWORD have announced the release of 'Hammer Of Heaven', an Age Of Winters-era (2003) track which was submitted for inclusion on the Avengers Assemble, the soundtrack for the major motion picture which is available on iTunes today (May 1st). The track didn't make the cut, but is now available on iTunes here
The Avengers Assemble is scheduled for theatrical release on May 4th in 2D and 3D.
The Sword recently signed a new, multi-album worldwide deal with New York City based label, Razor & Tie. After releasing three albums on Kemado Records, the Austin TX based quartet featuring guitarist/vocalist J.D. Cronise, guitarist Kyle Shutt, bassist Bryan Richie, and new drummer Santiago "Jimmy" Vela III will commence recording their fourth album in late June with a projected release date of fall 2012.
The new studio album will be supported by extensive global touring that will stretch well into 2013.
The Sword will be appearing at METALLICA's Orion Music and Arts Festival in Atlantic City, NJ on July 23rd - 24th, 2012.
