THE SWORD To Release 'Hammer Of Heaven' 7" Picture Disc Single

Austin, Texas metallers THE SWORD have announced the release of a 'Hammer Of Heaven' 7" picture disc single.
Says the band: "Due to popular demand, we are releasing a 7" picture disc single of 'Hammer Of Heaven'. It will be limited to 1,000 copies, and the B-side will feature a version of 'Ebethron', recorded live at Austin’s legendary Stubb’s Barbeque. The single will be released on June 11th and is now available for pre-order at this location. Those pre-ordering will receive the single along with a 7x7 signed and numbered glossy insert and an exclusive t-shirt. A small quantity of the single will also be available at our June shows leading up to the Orion Music and More Festival.
The Sword recently signed a new, multi-album worldwide deal with New York City based label, Razor & Tie. After releasing three albums on Kemado Records, the Austin TX based quartet featuring guitarist/vocalist J.D. Cronise, guitarist Kyle Shutt, bassist Bryan Richie, and new drummer Santiago "Jimmy" Vela III will commence recording their fourth album in late June with a projected release date of fall 2012.
The new studio album will be supported by extensive global touring that will stretch well into 2013.
The Sword will be appearing at METALLICA's Orion Music and Arts Festival in Atlantic City, NJ on July 23rd - 24th, 2012.
