MTS Management Group and metal guitarist extraordinaire XANDER DEMOS have announced that McNaught Guitars has begun

construction of the Xander Demos Signature Guitar (Model XD727). The 7-string, 27 fret guitar will feature an altered-strat body with a double cutaway for easy access to the upper frets. The first XD727 will also feature a quilted top with a Carribean Burst finish (natural to green to blue). Production is expected to take 6 weeks, with a public release date to be announced in the near future. A step-by-step photo story of the construction is available at this location.

A 6-string version (XD627) will be made available soon after, finished in a Pacific Burst (natural to teal to green;) a matching cousin to the XD727. Many of the McNaught Guitars options will be available on the production models in the future. See the McNaught Guitars website at this location for updates.

Dave McNaught, owner of McNaught Guitars has been quoted as saying: "My top 3 guitar players: Randy Rhoads, Paul Gilbert, and Xander Demos... in no particular order."

Xander Demos posted this statement on his Facebook page: "Just wanted to express my ultimate 'thanks' and my appreciation to David Thomas McNaught for believing in me and for creating a signature guitar for me. I am fiercely loyal to his brand, as well as Suhr, and I feel so lucky to have the support of those companies behind me. To have an instrument named after you is one of the highest honors, in my opinion, so I'm a bit overwhelmed today."

Demos and his band will be opening for power/symphonic/progressive metallers KAMELOT. The show will take place on Saturday, September 22nd at Altar Bar in Pittsburgh, PA. Tickets for the 8:30 PM show will be $25 in advance at Steelcityguitar.com, and $30 at the door.

Demos will also be opening for progressive metal kings, SYMPHONY X. The show is scheduled for September 12th at Altar Bar in Pittsburgh, PA.

Like Xander's upcoming performance with ADRENALINE MOB (featuring Symphony X lead singer Russel Allen), this will

also be a Drusky Entertainment production. Tickets will be available in advance for $23 at Steelcityguitar.com, as well as on the Drusky Entertainment website and the Altar Bar box office.

"We're so pleased to have Xander on the bill for another great metal show in Pittsburgh," says MTS Management Group's Michael Stover. "The metal fans, and the entire metal community, have been so supportive of Xander and his music. Drusky Entertainment is one of the premiere concert promoters in the country, and I'm so honored that they think so highly of my clients. I can't wait for this event!"

Xander Demos has been popping up everywhere, as of late. Fresh off his successful gig opening for another guitar master, BUCKETHEAD, and his recent Iron City Rocks podcast appearance, Xander has now been featured on Evolution Rock's Masters Of Shred 15 podcast. Xander is featured alongside other incredible "shred-heads" like Dean Cascione, Allan Davey and Angel Vivaldi. Not only was Xander's music featured on the podcast, but an exclusive interview was taped and aired during the show.

According to Evolution Rock: "Our purpose on the WWW is to promote the work of musicians and their message of creative freedom. We consider Evolution Rock to be The International Community Of Metal. Here you will find bands and musicians from all over the world. Sometimes geographical distances may separate us, but through rock and metal music we all speak the same language."
