Vocalist BLAZE BAYLEY (WOLFSBANE, ex-IRON MAIDEN) has cancelled his scheduled Canada / US tour in September.

Bayley states: "It is with a heavy heart that I have to announce that my planned tour of the US and Canada in September is cancelled.

I am so sorry. Due to circumstances beyond my control the tour could not go ahead. I can't go into too many details because of possible litigation but I can say that the agent that booked my last US tour will not be booking the next one.

Work will now start on plans to tour US and Canada in 2013 and beyond. I will try to play more towns and cities than ever before and announce the venue details as soon as they are confirmed. If there is a venue near you that puts on live music and you would like to see me play there, please send details and contact info. I will pass them on to my new agent so he can try to include your venue on the tour.

Thank you for you understanding and thank you for your belief and the support you have given me. I will see you all in 2013."

Blaze is featured in the clip below performing a live acoustic version of Iron Maiden's 'The Trooper' with Belgian classical guitarist Thomas Zwijsen. The clip was shot at Bannermans in Weston, UK on July 28th:

Zwijsen recently invited Bayley to sing 'The Clansman' with him as a guest vocalist for his acoustic Nylon Maiden album.

"We had time left so just for fun we recorded an acoustic version of 'Soundtrack Of My Life'. I'd like to take this opportunity to announce an acoustic tour with Blaze Bayley for July 2012! We will play this song along with some other Blaze songs, some Wolfsbane songs, many Iron Maiden songs and of course some of my Nylon Maiden arrangements."
