HALESTORM vocalist Lzzy Hale is featured in a new interview with Skylar Osovski at the Norfolk Daily News. An excerpt is available below:

This past spring, Halestorm made history by becoming the first-ever female-fronted band to reach No. 1 on the active rock radio airplay chart with its single 'Love Bites (So Do I)'.

The song is featured on Halestorm’s second full-length album, The Strange Case Of . . . — a project that Hale found satisfying.

“We put a lot of ourselves into our sophomore record, and the result was something very organic,” Hale said. “We weren’t thinking about what anyone else wanted it to sound like. We fought to make it our own way.”

That fighting spirit has attracted thousands of followers, encouraging Hale and her fellow bandmates to keep doing what they love.

“It’s very moving when you get physical, handwritten letters from people because you know what they’re expressing is coming from the heart,” Hale said. “One of the biggest things I’ve learned is that the fans inspire us, and I’m happy to represent them through our music.”
