The Decibel Geek podcast has released Episode 47 – 1987 Year in Review Part 2 for downloading and streaming. In this episode, hosts Aaron Camaro and Chris Czynszak discuss the pop culture happenings of 1987 featuring year-specific songs from all angles of the rock music genre.

According to a press release: “Memorable events of 1987 discussed in this episode include then-President Ronald Reagan’s Tear down this wall speech at the Brandenburg Gate and the rescue of Baby Jessica McClure after falling in a well in Midland Texas.

The second half of 1987 saw landmark album releases by MICHAEL JACKSON, DEF LEPPARD, PINK FLOYD, and GEORGE MICHAEL. Several other notable releases included albums by legendary acts such as MOTÖRHEAD, AEROSMITH, KISS, and RUSH.”
