Legendary cult rock band PENTAGRAM have announced that THE GUNS' Sean Saley will play drums for them, when they play a very special set for the first Power Of The Riff - East on September 1st in Brooklyn, NY.

The band will play their album, Relentless, in its entirety for the first time since the early 1980's. Pentagram will also be playing other beloved songs spanning the band's career including tracks from their most recent album, Last Rites.

The already intense roster for the forthcoming first installment of The Power Of The Riff East - recently announced to take place on September 1st and 2nd in Brooklyn - has been finalized.

COFFINWORM and DOUBLE NEGATIVE have both joined the lineup for day two's festivities, while almighty New York Hardcore kingpins AGNOSTIC FRONT will join the headlining acts for day one, playing an amazing set of nothing but songs from their classic United Blood/Victim In Pain releases.

The lineup for the two-day throwdown is now fully confirmed, with day one consisting of Pentagram, AGNOSTIC FRONT, HOAX, NEGATIVE APPROACH, XIBALBA, ALPHA & OMEGA and POWER TRIP, and day two featuring SUNN 0))), WINTER, REPULSION, SALVATION, COFFINWORM, DOUBLE NEGATIVE and DEAD IN THE DIRT.

TPOTR is an event that honors extreme music fans and musicians of all ages, tapping into a lineup that represents the forefathers, milestones and current national touring acts, while shedding light on up-and-coming and local acts. Curated by The Power Of The Riff and Southern Lord, the devastating two-day The Power Of The Riff East will take place in NYC on Saturday, September 1st and Sunday, September 2nd at Brooklyn's massive Warsaw club, boasting an incredible roster of riffcrushing artists from across the country.
