DEEZ NUTS Ink Deal With Century Media Records; New Album Due Out Next Year
November 15, 2012, 11 years ago
Century Media Records has welcomed DEEZ NUTS to the family. The band is the brainchild of JJ Peters and started after his original band (and Australian metal-core outfit) I KILLED THE PROM QUEEN decided to split up in early 2008.
Singer JJ Peters: "DN and myself are extremely proud to announce we've joined the family over at Century Media and will finally have a label to call home in Europe and the UK for our upcoming full length Bout It. Look at what we've achieved in Europe and UK doin' it DIY, with CM in our corner there’s no stopping us."
Deez Nuts are:
JJ Peters - vocals
Matt 'Realbad' Rogers - guitar
Jon Green - bass
Alex Salinger - drums
Their third album and Century Media Records debut Bout It that was produced by Shane Frisby (BURY YOUR DEAD, THE GHOST INSIDE) at The Brick Hit House in Massachusetts is scheduled for a release in the first quarter of 2013 in Europe. Arguably their most diverse work to date, the album was recorded earlier this year with Shane Frisby and features Freddy Cricien (MADBALL), Sam Carter (ARCHITECTS) and Jon Blake (ON BROKEN WINGS) among others.
Right around the release Deez Nuts will be partying live on their upcoming European tour:
