Los Angeles-based black metallers LIGHTNING SWORDS OF DEATH released their third full length offering this week, the band's second release on Metal Blade, entitled Baphometic Chaosium.

The band have now released the video for the album track, 'Baphometic Chaosium'. This is the group's first ever music video and was directed by co-founder and lead vocalist, Autarch (aka the metal illustrator, Farron Loathing). The project, which also marks Autarch's directorial debut, is the result of a partnership between Farron Loathing and Mortichrome Films. It is described by its creator as "a psycho-dramatic interpretation of the Mass of Chaos and the invocation of Baphomet as performed by a collective of ritual performance artists."

Watch the video below:

The band had appropriately become a five piece (completing the pentacle) with the recruitment of lead guitarist "Inverted" Chris Velez, before they began developing what is described as "devotional work," dedicated to their patron god. "A mind-altering experience compelled by the embodiment of chaos, death and ecstasy," recorded at Trench Studios with John Haddad again seeing to the engineering with Roskva producing, no doubt to the delight of the tributed horned deity.

Baphometic Chaosium contains the following eight songs:

'Baphometic Chaosium'

'Acid Gate'

'Psychic Waters'

'Cloven Shields'

'Chained To Decay'

'R'Lyeh Wuurm'

'Epicyclarium'

'Oaken Chrysalis'
