Host Matt O'Shaughnessy welcomes Y&T; vocalist/lead guitarist Dave Meniketti to WVOX's Metal Mayhem this Friday, February 15th at 9:30 PM, EST on WVOX.com worldwide and 1460 AM locally in New York. Meniketti will talk with O'Shaughnessy about Y&T;'s return to New York at Stage 48 on Friday, March 22nd, and about the how technology has influenced music and much more during the broadcast.
Oakland, California's Y&T; is one of the San Francisco Bay Area's own innovators of the hard rock sound. Songs such as 'Mean Streak', 'Black Tiger', 'Forever', and 'Summertime Girls' have become representative of Dave Meniketti and company's no-nonsense attack to hard rock music for the past 39 years. In addition to headlining on their own, Y&T; has also toured as support act with legends OZZY OSBOURNE, AC/DC, MÖTLEY CRÜE and more. The current Y&T; lineup of: Dave Meniketti on vocals/lead guitar, John Nymann on rhythm guitar/vocals, Brad Lang on bass/vocals, and Mike Vanderhule on drums/vocals, recently released their Live At The Mystic album.
