Lzzy Hale, frontwoman for HALESTORM, talks about re-recording the classic LITA FORD/OZZY OSBOURNE duet 'Close My Eyes Forever' with DISTURBED singer David Draiman for his new side-project DEVICE. Check out the Artisan News report below:

Device recently issued a new two-minute trailer for their forthcoming self-titled debut album. Check it out below:

Draiman recently checked in with an update to clear up misconceptions regarding his launch of Device:

"My brothers and sisters, my blood, I just wanted to take a moment to thank all of you for coming with me on this new journey that is Device. I am eternally grateful for the love that you all have for Disturbed, and I also understand the defensiveness that can come with any thing that could potentially be perceived as a catalyst to some sort of 'breakup theory' that, I assure you, has no base in the first place.

If you read the Device bio that was posted on the Device Facebook page, you will learn that the whole project came together quite accidentally, and I'm very glad it did. I think you will be too.

Disturbed is still on hiatus. A hiatus is an extended break, not 'breakup.' We have fought long and hard together, all of us, to make Disturbed what it has become, and are not just walking away from it. We all needed to just give ourselves some time away from it. The existence of Device does not in any way shape or form mean the end of Disturbed. They are two completely separate entities, and I hold them both in the highest regard. You are about to get your first taste this coming week.

You have all of my love and respect."

Device recently premiered the PG Brown-directed video for 'Villify'. Check it out below:

'Villify' is the first single off Device's self-titled debut album, set for release on April 9th via Warner Bros Records.

The complete tracklist is as follows:

'You Think You Know'

'Penance'

'Vilify'

'Close My Eyes Forever' (LITA FORD/OZZY OSBOURNE cover featuring HALESTORM's Lzzy Hale)

'Out Of Line' (feat. Serj Tankian, Geezer Butler)

'Hunted'

'Opnion' (feat. Tom Morello)

'War Of Lies'

'Haze' (feat. M. Shadows)

'Through It All' (feat. Glenn Hughes)

The album is available for pre-order at the bottom of the page. A teaser for the album can be heard below:

The live incarnation of Device will include drummer Will Hunt (EVANESCENCE, BLACK LABEL SOCIETY) and guitarist Virus (DOPE).

Despite the metal pedigree of those involved with Device, Draiman insists, "It's not metal. It's influenced by early Industrial rock (NINE INCH NAILS, MINISTRY) and has a dark electronic vibe. At the same time, these are big, anthemic, and intensely melodic songs. It's futuristic rock."
